Description :

Methyl dichloroacetate may be used in the diastereoselctive synthesis of bicyclic chlorocyclopropane, as difunctional initiator during atom transfer radical polymerization of methyl or n-butyl acrylate, as reagent during CrCl2-induced olefination of aldehydes.
